Georg I love your ability to capture such interesting equipment and share them here on RP.net for all to see and appreciate with you. Fascinating machine, and wonderful information about the 10 or so people that spent 18 years working to bring this classic, but beautiful "old" machine back to life. I also find it more incredible to see, from that little pile on the floor to the right, that this snow blower is wood fired and not coal. That's a lot of wood to go through I'd bet. Again, wonderful photo of interesting equipment.

Wood is only used to light the fire, as it probably is in all steam locomotives. The rotary is fired with coal.
