Amtrak in its youth an looking great rolling some folks to their destinations in style. Great pic Richard. Those E8 units were the best looking passenger engines along with the streamliner coaches right behind. You wood see the steam leaking out the pipes and it just looked all warm n cozy on the insides , an colder then Fargo on the outside. I had to fight a traffic ticket in Weed,ca. and the train let me off in Dunsmir at about 1:30 am an it was snowing ferioshly and I was so sorry to see that leave w/o me. Everything was closed up. I mean everything. Are you getting my drift. AH OH now what the hell do I do ? Life's great eh.
