Sweet colours . What a great photo Roger. I miss all the older paint jobs on the pre-merger railroads. Notice the 805 has 3 portholes on the side and the 807 has only 2. Must of ben a pothole shortage. Cheers !

Beano, there are indeed 3 portholes on GM&O 805A. Looking back from the cab, one porthole was over the word "OHIO", the second in the middle over the BIL in "MOBILE", and the third is over the word "GULF" near the rear section, close to the door and ladder. I had to look extra hard to find them, too, so no worries!

Now hear this ,the first two units have 4 vents in between their 2 portholes wearass the third unit has 3 portholes with no vents in between them. The third unit F3-805A also has a different vent at the top rear so maybe it was a earlier version of the F3 series of the classic EMD F units. Small alterations sometimes are interesting in car bodies of locomotives. The former GN unit has a winterization hood up top and notice also the GM&O have four hi-stacks on the rooftops. What a prize photo.
