Great picture. I've spent a lot of time at this spot. I also love the no ditch lights on this locomotive. If these engines have cleared Elkhorn Tunnel than this train is headed away from Bluefield. Unless they're helpers of course.

Thanks for the input and thank you everyone for viewing. Yes, it is a west bound with leading power, hence the empties. I got turned around. After all its been a few years. This slide had several brushes with the circular file as the exposure quality was sub-optimal. Thanks to the magic of Photoshop we can all enjoy a great scene of past railroading in the hills of West Virginia!
