Nice photo! This is the site where the double-headed 'Red Arrow' passenger train derailed back in February 1947. Both K4s locomotives along with several passenger cars dove over the embankment that is shown on the left side of this photo. The passenger train was descending the mountain on the third set of tracks from the left. Excessive speed was the blame for the wreck.
