Neat idea to place a metal cage on top of the tender to allows more wood to be loaded on the tender. I've never seen this method used before. Thanks for sharing.

Jeff, Many thanks you for your comment. I have seen a similar tender on some steam locomotives used on the sugar railways in Indonesia (Java). There, the locomotives burn compressed blocks of bagasse which is a residue of sugar cane. Kind regards, Daniel
