The ACL standardized the black-with-yellow-stripes scheme around 1957, so that would make this paint at least 65 years old!

By any chance, does this engine run on a regular basis?

My first cab ride was in one of these engines in Wilson, NC in 1954. My grandfather was a section foreman on the ACL. He stopped the switcher on an industrial track to the warehouses beside his house. This ACL paint scheme will always hold a place in my fond memories of my grandfather and the ACL.
