Can you please tell me what the yellow line is across the water?

Great location, and lovely weather. I guess that's a trash collector floating in the river if that's a hydro plant downstream.

At the top of the picture there is a hydro power station, the yellow line is to prevent boats from coming too close and get sucked in the turbines

After my first comment, I just realized that there is a slight mistake. Kenora is in Ontario, very close to Manitoba.
