Im assuming that these locos were all scrapped?

Ouch! Hope none of the crews were hurt. Although, on a lighter note: "That will buff right out, with some Duct Tape, and some paint...they'll be good as new!" I agree with the first comment above, I'm guessing these were scrapped?

According to a thread on TrainOrders, there were three fatalities in this wreck unfortunately. AA Foster (Conductor on G38), Rick Cowart (unknown position on G38) and a gentleman named Mudslide. One of the engineers was also apparently injured enough to merit NS giving him a few million dollars. A railpictures user by the name of Batman also posted a picture of these engines back in 2008 and he remarked that the engines were destroyed, which I assume means they were ultimately scrapped.
