The 900 later worked at their Eagle #2 mine near Shawneetown, IL. I shot it there in '87 wearing a newer paint job and the mine shut down in '93 i believe. Almost no trace of that operation remains. I assume the equipment was scrapped. They also used an ex-ICG GP10 there (the two worked together) and i have never seen anything about these locomotives since.

Even with all the grime and junk, it's still a nice looking locomotive.
