Where did they get the Heidi name from, did they name the locomotive after the main character of Joanna Spyri's novel, or did they get it from somewhere else?

The name Heidi comes from the fact that the locomotive made a very small appearance in the film version of the story of Heidi by Johanna Spyri in the 1950s. When the locomotive was still in shunting service in Chur, someone wrote the name on it. After the extensive restoration of the locomotive, this was reinstated.

So this little shunter joins Sierra #3 and many other locomotives as a film star!
