Thanks Michael. Is this locomotive operational? We had a number of this model here in New Zealand as well as the the G12. A few of the latter are preserved cosmetically original but all the G8s received rebuilt cabs in
the 1980s. KiwiRail retired the last of them a few years back with several operational locomotives preserved.
