Yes, that is a MARC train sitting in the MARC storage tracks. It was a sharp curve, Tim! So much so that I wasn’t able to see how close they were racing until a couple moments before I took the picture.

Tim Parsons - I have no idea of the camera lens being used. Wide angle lens skew the perspective of the pictures they take. I have seen drone shots of a pick-up truck that looks like it is bent in a horseshoe behind the cab.

I think he was referring to the oddly shaped track in the remains of the roundhouse. I originally thought he meant the curve of the mainline heading into the station but I read it wrong.

Through Martinsburg the speeds are 40 MPH for Freight and 45 MPH for Passenger per the ETT.
