Why in the heck would they not want to have a creature comfort such as this trailing a freight train. Some places in the country where the weather gets extremely cold a warm caboose could save lives. Notice the slogan on the side of the Caboose ' Be wise Beware Be safe ' a slogan that has safety meant to be practiced in railroading. Those northern and midwestern states get so cold and with the crazy cold prairie Dakota winds that can get 40 degrees below zero these Cabooses should be added to a train for crew safety. Watching the weather station on TV really opens our eyes as to the the weather conditions all over the country and they are rugged and dangerous let alone meeting another train both doing 50 mph, yea we aint flippin burgers here like a co-worker through a whooper at me and I wasnt wearing my Burger King crown.
