There is a coaling tower on CSX's KD Subdivision at Chaska, TN on Duff Mountain that has been there longer than I have been around and I am 70. I live just a few miles south of the tower and occassionally will walk to it and watch a few trains in the meantime. Since coaling towers are mostly railroad relics that have stood the test of time basically, does anyone out there in railfan-land know how many of the towers are still standing all over the United States? I have seen quite a few photos of them located in other states on this website. Is there a list of where they are located, too? Just curious.
