A quartet of CP's finest, with one more mid train slowly climb the hill out of Albert Canyon with 400's freight. CP 9714 was once used for CP's Holiday Train, and has the scars to prove it.

Eastbound Via "Canadian" exits a short tunnel along the Illicillewaet River east of Revelstoke on the climb over Rogers Pass. Double tracking project required a open cut for the not yet in service... (more)
