Stuck!!! Eight hours of digging still could not free the 13-car train under it's own power.

Stuck!!! Not so much by the drifts ahead of the movement but by the press of the concrete-like snow on the sides of the train.

4-axle power is the norm for the M&P turn, seen in the hills of southern Columbia County in Wisconsin. Summer is the only season a person can chase this train in daylight.

CP's M&P job does most of it's work under cover of darkness, but in the long days of summer one can capture it in the rolling hills of northern Dane County in sunlight.
