Big Rock was one of those places that existed virtually entirely for the railroad. I do not think there was any town to speak of, just lots of diesels and cabooses for mine runs.

Tied down in a snowstorm, loaner BNSF motors hold back a unit train already loaded and headed down to Weller Yard.
With an OL leading the way, this unit train has just been floodloaded on Big Creek, and awaits a green to get in the yard at Weller, for a trip up and over the Buchanan Branch and onto the Pokey.
