The HSB 99 7238 hauling the first passenger train of the day is emerging from the unique tunnel of the Harz system which is located half way between Wernigerode and Drei Annen Hohne.

It is quite warm outside today, therefore I thought that a bit of refreshment would be welcome!

Today, the old lady (the Mallet has been built in 1898), has hauled the HSB Nostalgie Zug from Wernigerode up to the Brocken summit. Now it is back in the shed and is taking a well deserved rest.
