About the only thing running during the day, ever, was the local and I caught this one two days before ending one career and beginning another. When tense, go railfanning.

Empty hopper train LG1 heads south through the little town of Cecilia on a fine summer evening.

Traveling over former IC trackage Paducah & Louisville power head west with coal empties by Cecilia Ky.

With the sun only having a few minutes before dipping below the horizon a Paducah & Louisville empty coal train heads back to the mine for a refill.

Empty hoppers from Louisville Gas & Electric's "Cane Run" plant in Louisville highball south through Cecilia just before sunset. Today's consist includes two GP40-3/slug sets and a GP40-2.
