1275 is taking a freight to Louisville KY. The L&N has just leased these units from the SCL. Notice the L next to the cab number.
With the formation of Conrail the DT&I gained operating rights into the L&N yard at DeCousery KY. This motive power might have come off DC 7.
Before L&N added these engines to their engine roster they leased them first. Noticed the L next to the number on the cab. This was a short lived deal with the L next to the number.
