Helper power heads towards Gillette after performing helper service along the Powder River Basin.
Morning gloom looms over the northern region of the Powder River Basin as a Black Thunder Mine coal train approaches Donkey Creek Jct to preform a crew change with a rebuilt SD70MACe leading.
Just west of the town Gillette, Wyoming near Donkey Creek Jct, a westbound oil train is tied down near the yard with CSX pool power on the head end.
BNSF 9249 is on the point of this empty coal train with three more SD60s trailing (EMDX 9054, EMDX 9092 & BNSF 9267) a few miles south of Donkey Creek Jct.
