Kicking up snow in its wake, a Herzog ballast train led by a classic EMD motor blasts north through downtown Enfield the day after nearly a foot of snow fell on the A-line corridor.

A southbound freight passes a deteriorated water tower as it blasts through the recent snowfall with seven units.
