When your engineer is a fellow railfan. You get a musical performance on the horn, and a giant wave and smile. GMTX 2330 and RSSX 1633 head up the hill with a load of box cars.

Railserve GP7U 1337, and SSRX GP38-2 3670 are shoving a big train into Garfield yard. The cars will be picked up by Union Pacific.

I was able to catch another of the Railserve GP I had never caught leading. The Railserve paint job isn't the fanciest ever. But the paint on RSSX 1590 is fresh looking and clean.

Living in Union Pacific country it's always a treat to get a BNSF trackage rights train. Then a BNSF coal train is really cool. Throw in a Norfolk Southern for a little variety.

It's pretty awesome to get to see locomotives of this vintage still earning their keep in 2024. RSSX 1337 and 1633 are bring 72 loads of sulfuric acid produced at the smelter during there smelting... (more)

I was able to luck into a BNSF train leaving Roper yard westbound, during my commute home. A pretty nice consist on top of that. A GE tier 4 and a Ferromex SD70ACE.

It's nice these days to see a pure set of EMD's. UP 8936 and 8425 are about to go onto the Shafter Subdivision.

GMTX 2662 and RSSX 116 carefully shove a large string of tank car's, around the corner, up into Garfield yard.

With a sting of tank cars, used for hauling sulfuric acid. GMTX 2662, and RSSX 116 bring down a load train to interchange with Union Pacific.
