A pair of AVR yard jobs work at the east end of Glenwood yard. 4001 is one of 4 newly acquired ex-KCS GP40-2's.

A AVR local has just pulled into the yard and cut away from its train. After receiving new orders the power heads for the west end. Two other Gp11's are sitting at the yard office on the right.

With four cars and a caboose in tow, the P&W local passes through Glenwood Junction.

During the early 90's, the odd-ball fleet of GP39-2's were frequently found on CSX locals in the Pittsburgh area. Catching the lightning stripes of ex-D&H #4318 was always a treat.

Still dressed in the Capitol Dome, CSX GP40 6580 awaits its next assignment at Glenwood Yard. Now the B&O is long gone and the Glenwood Terminal is operated by the Allegheny Valley Railroad.
