With the rear coal hoppers still coming out of the Cumberland Mountains at Big Creek Gap, the front power passes the old Lafollette station, now used for track and MOW crews.

Q541 descends out of Big Creek Gap on the KD Sub, passing a MOW car on the siding just west of Lafollette station.
