Laurinburg and Southern Railroad 131 sits among a plethora of older LRS power in 2004. She is an Alco S2 built in 1948 for the Richmond Fredericksburg & Potomac Railroad.

LRS's power lays over for the weekend at their interchange yard with CSX, while an interesting prop was left on the crossing.

This former Union Railroad unit eases up to make a joint with some freight car, just another day. No name on the slide.

LRS crew has just cut one of the three SW1500s off their train to take some tank cars into Laurinburg. The two motors on the right will couple onto the rear of the train.
