After officiating some hockey games in Snellville, I took the long way home, and caught this grain train making its way south to Gloster to meet one northbound.
CSX crews laying panel track after a 15 car derailment. After the piece of panel track is chained to the bucket of the excavator, it is then lifted and laid into place.
Derailment early in the morning happened right under the highway bridge. I counted 14 autoracks that left the tracks. View of the cars as they backed up under the west side of the highway bridge.
