Powered by a nice pair of EMD GP30s—Nos. 716 and 703—Soo Line train 11 rumbles through Lomira, Wisconsin, on the afternoon of July 26, 1987.

A rather unique leader takes the charge of A490 as they trek southbound. They would meet 1 northbound at the Marsh Siding just south of here on the CN Waukesha Subdivision.

A shiny new GEVO leads a long stack train south with a nice surprise of the CN Business cars following the power.

The roar of 3rd and 4th generation GEs disturb the peacefulness here, as they head north on the CN Waukesha Sub with train Q117 in tow.

A duo of PRLX SD75Ms lead CN A490 south past the depot in Lomira.

Shortly after sunrise, L510 races north for Fond du Lac with a pair of zebra SD40-2W's. These two classics look like they've been around the block a few times!
