On Christmas morning, an Amtrak Dash 8 rolls east across the former EJ&E and past Rondout Tower.

After waiting out the Metra rush, CP 528 clears the old EJ&E diamond and passes the venerable Rondout Tower. Bringing up the rear as a DPU is the Kansas City Southern veterans unit.
