Two tiny 0-4-2 T locomotives built by Barclay (1916) and Fowler (1914) are catching the morning sun during one of the first runpasts at Sandstone.

NG4 number 16 is about to get a soaking (as was the photografer!) from a storm, as it runs along the pond on the Sandstone Estate Railway.

Even hauled by two locomotives this freight train had big difficulties to climb the severe grade on the Sandstone Estates Railway
