A westbound BNSF oil train enters the double track at 'Summit'

As ubiquitous to BNSF as the SD40-2 was to BN, a trio of Dash 9s lead an intermodal train over the summit of Marias Pass.

Loaded grain train G-WTRKAL9-11A crests over the top of Marias Pass westbound towards Whitefish with the beautiful Rocky Mountain vista behind them.

Cresting the pass, one of BN's late scheme SD60Ms leads a hot intermodal east.
