Climbing upgrade after stopping at Fremont, the 72nd Annual Santa Clause Special rumbles under the abandoned and virtually forgotten coal loader at Roaring Fork on its way to Dante.
The head-end has been augmented by the big GE and after a failed attempted the southbound coal train is again on the move. Soon it will enter Sandy Ridge Tunnel and reach the top of the grade.
