Heading Westbound into Denver, this Union Pacific empty military train is led by the KCS 4782, CSXT 8520 and the UP 7013, 6588, 4438.
A typical summer afternoon in Colorado with thunderstorms running north along the front range behind a loaded coal train on the old KP line.
This rotary had come south from it's base in Cheyenne, and was eastbound toward Kansas to battle drifts. It reportedly had not been on this line since 1997.
