23 more bite the dust......none of these were saved, all were scrap by mid Oct. 06.
WC SD45 #7518, WC SD40 #6001, DWP SD40 #5911, and several other engines sit in one of many deadlines at Homewood. WC 6001 and DWP 5911 are now in the process of being scrapped.
This is sad.... a GTW SD40 and several WC SD45s sit parked on the deadline awaiting their date with the scrapper.
