SLR Henschel-Thyssen built EMD-engined G22s M6 783 and M6 797 (recently repainted in Inter-City livery) stand on Badulla depot on Saturday 28th January 2023.

M6 No 797 approaches Galle with the 1015 Matara to Colombo Fort in 2013. Loco 797 was built by Henschel in 1980.
