A NS 1600 class locomotive passes the Hembrug over the Noordzeekanaal with an empty coal train. The Hembrug was a swinging bridge which was soon after replaced by the Hemtunnel.

Train 50094 is transporting household waste from southern Limburg loaded at Haanrade and Maastricht Beatrixhaven in the very south of the Netherlands to Wijster VAM in the north of the country.
