Coming from Fortezza (Italy), a new Stadler ETR is about to enter Sillian station, with a train to Lienz.

This is one of the new Stadler "Flirt" EMU ETR-170 that I photographed at the station of Ala, coming from Bolzano.

This is one of Stadler "Flirt" EMU ETR-155 I photographed unexpectedly on the northern outskirts of Bologna, very out of its service region.

In the picture one of the two convoys (tractor and trailer) for a few months in use by "Ferrovia del Renon" that were purchased from "Trogenerbahn St. Gallen" Switzerland.

Note the catenary poles typical of the "Ferrovia del Renon" are made from tree trunks and reinforced with steel brackets on the base.
