A pair of ex-KATY GP7's are parked at the Sabine River & Northern Railroad shops in Orange, Texas. SRN 1751 was built as MKT 1504. SRN 1759 began life as MKT 1503. Both were built in 1950.
The SRN interchange job heads to deliver boxcars to the KCS on a sunny Texas morning. The railroad is a boxcar only operation serving a paper mill and trades cars with the KCS and UP.
