This overhead shot shows the clean roofline of a slug. With no prime mover, all cooling fans have been removed, except for the dynamic brake. Nice and quiet in the cab!

The daily southbound leaves Richmond,Que headed for Island Pond VT led by GP40 3001. Quebec regionals offer a variety of old & new power. 3001 is ex B&O 3702
The colorful 4-unit lashup of GP40's has just cut off the Northbound freight and will be re-crewed before leaving Richmond with the daily Southbound.
