185 years of service between these 3 locomotives. 80 Ton 1606 has just been put on the depressed deck railcar for its upcoming journey to Essex, CT to the Valley Railroad.
In its original configuration, this unit still sports two stacks. A later rebuild would leave some with one larger stack. I got to ride one at Ft. Bliss.
SW 8 that once was used to pull Titan Rockets into position until 2005. This was done with two motors parallel to each other, the MU arm seen on the side linking them together on dual tracks.
