On Labour Day 2018, WCR Steam Engine No. 9 leads a passenger excursion train between St. Jacobs and Elmira, Ontario. My family was riding in the red caboose at rear!

On June 30, 2016, the Waterloo Central Railway hosted a photo freight train with Essex Terminal Railway No.9 built 1923 by MLW. Following 9 was Ex-TH&B boxcars still in their yellow paint.

Two Generations of MLW made their appearances on this Canada Day. Both 'Idling' as it were. 6593 is out to make up the train for the day while No.9 is fed wood from the ever shrinking pile of wood... (more)

Just about ready to go, Essex Termial Railway No.9 gets prepped for a long day running passengers up and down the Waterloo Central line.
