A new Dead Line has been formed at Portola, California. The small UP yard is on the former Western Pacific line through the High Sierras. The line is either C40-8 or SD60 engines.
Back to one of my favorite spots at Mairink city: Southbound train X54 running to Guaiana yard with two old C30-7s as DPUs, crossing the huge viaduct at Km 154.
