A&M 60 and 3 sister Alcos start to pull south after making a quick 1 car set out to the grain elevator in Butterfield,MO. 4/15/10

After dropping 4 cars at the grain elevators, the Alco quartet heads back to the mainline to continue South.

A&M Ft Smith turn Rudy, AR

A sucker hole of sun catches four C420's cackling South, through a s-curve, lined with wildflowers in bloom. Must admit, my first time seeing ALCO's in mainline action, was really awesome!

Afternoon thunderstorms begin to pop, while the Monett Turn returns to Springdale with four C420's and 28 cars in tow.

Smoke'm if you got'm. Here we see the Engineer throw the fuel to the Ole Girls, as they cut the consist and 1 grain car away from the train to work the Cargill Elevator.

Lush green fields and blue skies make a lovely backdrop for a quartet of C420's as they grind South towards Springdale, approaching the small town of Purdy.

The Monett turn drags past the switch to shove the first car back, on a beautiful Spring afternoon.
