Amtrak's Auto Train rolls out of Seville, chargers in charge.

A special demonstration Talgo run returns to Portland from Salem. The train is passing the timetable east end of Southern Pacific's Brooklyn Yard.

Amtrak's northbound Mount Rainier makes its station stop at Salem on a spring morning. The train originated in Eugene a few minutes before sunrise. It will terminate at Seattle during lunch hour.

The San Francisco Zephyr heads east through Wyoming. Next stop, Borie (a shack 5 miles out of Cheyenne), then down toward Denver.
