A pair for ex-GN GP9Ms lead the annual Arrowhead Civic Club passenger extra east from Duluth to Iron River, Wisconsin over NP's former line to Ashland.
Rebuilt using parts from GN FTs, the only low nose GP5 (GP9m) on the roster was assigned to Superior for many years and worked local jobs out of the Twin Ports.
