After picking up a cut of cars in Jamestown, BNSF 4343 and two visitors from the East are about to leave the double track to the single main at Bloom.

With the severe flooding in North Dakota, the water in one of the lakes just outside of Sanborn, ND is almost up to the top of the BNSF causeway.

For now it's only rain impeding this eastbound empty grain train, soon to encounter early season snowfall while crossing Stevens Pass in the Cascades.
