BNSF ES44C4 8264 has just departed Needles, CA with a Chicago Logistics Park stacker after a crew change. Shortly, it will cross over the Colorado River and into the state of Arizona at Topock.
They are hard to find, but the SD75's continue to run in the Pacific Northwest.
The SD 75's are back for a little bit, anyway.
Two SD75Ms and a faded GEVO lead a short concrete train north through Palmer Lake. BNSF typically has a spare unit on the spur track here, but I haven't seen one for a couple of months now.

A pair of locomotives rumble west through the east side of Franklin Canyon. It's always nice to get a friendly wave from the engineer, and if you look close, the conductor as well.
BNSF 8264 laps across the southern part of the balloon track to clear its train off of the Glasston Sub. Note the difference in color and font between the two units in the Heritage II scheme.
