CN C44-9WL 2512 + SD75I 5642 pull 115's freight out of Armstrong and across Highway 527.
At sunset, Canadian National 323 is passing by the old Grand Trunk station now used as a tourism information.
With a large cut of coke loads on the headend, Q183's train passes Mile 231 of CN's Edson Sub.
With a cut of 72 loaded coke cars up front picked up in Edmonton, Toronto-Prince Rupert train Q183 climbs towards a crew change at Jasper.
A trio of engines make the blast up Byron Hill just south of Fond du Lac with 63 ballast loads in tow.
NS 930 with CN 2512, a C44-9LW (note the 4 windows), takes charge as the sole power for the train wile rocking and rolling over a stretch of jointed rail.
With a total of 12,400 horsepower at the head end, and another 3,000 at the tail with IC 6203 pushing, this manifest makes quick work of one of the steepest grades in Wisconsin.
