The end of the line for the foemer Chessie System and Family Lines B30-7s. Over the years I shot all 80 units that were on the CSX roster including the derated B36-7 5581 which made 81 units.

383 grinds uphill towards the summit with one of the worst looking Chessie engines of all times leading the way.
With Chessie almost completely faded, 5542 looks thoroughly abused. Surprisingly, this engine is still on the CSX roster in 2006 - wearing a CSX paint job.
